What a great conference, thank you to all who attended and especially the medical doctors and researchers who are working toward understanding this disease.  It was great seeing all the families with their children.  As an advocate for over 25 plus years and as a paralegal for a Special Education Attorney, I know all to well the struggles that families who have these special children encounter.  Supports and services, special trained teachers and aides, assistive technology,  that are entitlements under the law, used both in the classroom and at home.  Working with a local school district can often be a job in itself and many parents often give up, please don't, email me at : dreams4mychild@yahoo.com.
